How to Make Turkey Burgers

Turkey breast is dry and compact but can be made tasty and succulent

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs ground turkey breast
  • 2 medium potatoes
  • 3/4 cup tomato ketchup
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon liquid smoke
  • 3 heads scallion(chopped)

Preparation:

  • Peel, wash , cut into quarters and boil potatoes until tender
  • drain all water and crush into a smooth texture
  • In large bowl mix all ingredients well
  • place in fridge for 2 hours
  • remove from fridge
  • make 14-16 patties
  • cook on grill or oven 2 1/2 to 3 minutes on both sides
  • a charcoal grill is real good

SERVE ON A BUN WITH CUCUMBER, LETTUCE AND SLICE TOMATO

How to make Beef Burgers

Most burgers, if not all, that I have eaten from food places are fry ground meat. The burger that is in this recipe promises much more in terms of taste and flavor.

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 3/4 cup tomato ketchup
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 head scallion(chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon liquid smoke

Preparation:

  • In a large bowl combine all ingredients and mix well
  • place in a fridge for 2 hours
  • remove from fridge and form into balls just under the size of a tennis ball
  • flatten balls into a patties
  • make about 16 patties
  • cook using a grill or oven
  • A charcoal grill is really good

SERVE ON A BUN WITH LETTUCE, CUCUMBER AND SLICE TOMATO

How to make Curry Turkey Burger

Turkey breast is pretty dry and compact, but with a little tweak it can be as moist and juicy as any meat

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs ground turkey
  • 2 large potatoes
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 hot pepper (blend))
  • 1/2 medium onion (chopped)
  • 4 clove garlic(blend)
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 tablespoon ground coriander

Preparation:

  • Peel, wash and cut potatoes into quarters, boil until tender .
  • drain potatoes and crush to a smooth texture
  • In a large bowl add all ingredients to ground turkey
  • Mix well, and place in fridge for 2 hours
  • remove from fridge
  • make about 12-14 patties( make them into a ball then flatten them)
  • cook over any grill or oven, but is especially good over charcoal grill

How to make Curry Beef Burger

Curry burger is made with different meats and vegetables. I have made them all and will be introducing them. The taste is just exotic and will be remembered for a long time, making it a household meal.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb of ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 tps of ground cumin
  • 1/4 tps of ground coriander
  • 1/4 tps of turmeric
  • 1/8 tps of cinnamon(ground)
  • 1/8 tps of ground clove
  • 1/8 tps of chili powder
  • 1/2 tps of salt or salt to taste
  • 1/4 tps of garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup of bread crumbs
  • 1 large onion(peel and thinly slice)
  • 1 large tomato (thinly slice)
  • 6-8 slices of cucumber
  • 6 slices of cheese

Preparation:

Add all the ingredients (EXCEPT THE LAST FOUR), into a bowl. Mix well and set in the fridge for 2 hours.

Remove the mix from the fridge and make it into balls (6-8). Flatten each ball to form a patty and set aside.

Place the burger patties on a non stick pan and grill on one side then the other side 2-3 minutes each.
Do the same if you’re using an outdoor grill or BBQ pit.

Add cheese, 1 slice each of tomato, onion,and cucumber. Eat it like that, on a bread, with fries, a serving of saute vegetables, or a combination of all.
