how to make boil and fry chickpeas

Ingredients:

  • 1 pint chickpea                                      1.75
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon ground cumin(heap)       .50
  • 1 large onion (chopped)                           .15
  • 4 clove garlic (chopped)                            .10
  • 1 medium hot pepper (chopped)               .25
  • salt to taste                                            .05
  • 1 potspoon oil                                         .15
  • total cost 2.95

Preperation:

  • wash chickpea add chickpea into a large bowl of water  the chickpea must be totally submerg  set aside overnight or 4 hours
  • strain chickpea
  • heat water in a pressure cooker/pot
  • add chickpea and allow to pressure 15 minutes
  • check for desire tenderness
  • heat oil in a pan add all ingredients stir for 2 minutes
  • add chickpea, stir fry for a few minutes about 4-5 minutes
  • SERVE HOT ALONE OR WITH MANGO CHUTNEY  GOOD FOR 4 ADULTS
