Ingredients:
- 1 tsp. ground ginger
- 1 tsp. ground garlic
- 1 tsp. ground coriander
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 1 tsp. ground turmeric
- 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 tsp. ground chili or 1 medium hot pepper grind
- 1/2 tsp. ground clove
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 2 tsp. paprika
- 3/4 pts. basmatti rice and 2 tablespoon oil
- VEGETABLES
- 2 carrots thinly sliced
- 1 large green bell pepper. Cut across then into small strips
- 1 large red bell pepper done as green bell pepper
- 4 heads scallion/shallot slice into 1 inch pieces
Preparation:
Boil rice just a little harder than normal. Strain and wash with cold water, and allow to drain for 15 minutes then refrigerate.
Combine all other ingredients except oil and veggies. Heat oil in a wok, add mixture and let simmer for 2 minutes
Add rice a little at a time while toasting. When all of the rice has been added, continue to stir fry for 3-5 minutes or until rice is hot
Remove from fire, add vegetables and stir into rice.
serve alone or with any meat
