This is the second of a series of stir fries. This recipe has two versions, a mild and a spicy version. they are both excellent, but I love the spicy one more.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb chicken breast
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 4 clove garlic (chopped)
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- 6 head scallion
- 1 tablespoon liquid smoke (very important)
- 2 tablespoon oil
Preparation:
Cut chicken into finger size strips. Add baking soda and mixed into chicken breast then set aside for 1 hour.
Cut each pepper into halves across then into medium strips. Cut each scallion into 4 pieces.
After 1 hour wash breast 3-4 times to remove baking soda taste.
Heat oil in a wok or non stick pan.
Add garlic and stir fry for 1 minute. Add chicken and stir fry for 2 minutes.
Add oyster sauce and stir fry for 3 minutes.
Add peppers, scallion and liquid smoke and stir fry for 2 minutes.
Remove from fire and let sit for 3 minutes.
SERVE ALONE, OVER NOODLES OR RICE. JUST WONDERFUL.
