This is the second of a series of stir fries. This recipe has two versions, a mild and a spicy version. they are both excellent, but I love the spicy one more.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb chicken breast
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 4 clove garlic (chopped)
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- 6 head scallion
- 1 tablespoon liquid smoke (very important)
- 2 tablespoon oil
Preparation:
Cut chicken into finger size strips. Add baking soda and mixed into chicken breast then set aside for 10 minutes
Cut each pepper into halves across then into medium strips. Cut each scallion into 4 pieces.
After 10 minutes rinse breast to remove baking soda taste.
Heat oil in a wok or non stick pan.
Add garlic and stir fry for 1 minute. Add chicken and stir fry for 5-7 minutes.
Add oyster sauce and stir fry for 3 minutes.
Add peppers, scallion and liquid smoke and stir fry for 3-5 minutes.
Remove from heat serve hot
SERVE ALONE, OVER NOODLES OR RICE. JUST WONDERFUL.
