Stew beef is probably the most versatile of all part meal preparation in that it can be eaten with anything rice, bread, roti and you name it.
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs. round steak (just a matter of preference)
- 1 tbs. paprika
- 2 large ripe tomatoes (cut up)
- 1 small tin tomato paste
- 1 large onion(chopped)
- 4 clove garlic (chopped)
- 2 head scallions(chopped)
- 1 stalk celery(chopped)
- 6 sprigs thyme or 1 teaspoon dry
- 4 beef bullion
- 1/2 hot pepper
- 1 tbs. sugar
- 2 tbs. oil
- salt to taste
- 1 tbs. corn starch or flour ( optional
Preparation:
- Clean and cut meat into bite size
- Heat oil in a pot/pressure cooker
- Add meat and let fry until no longer pink
- Add all other ingredients EXCEPT CORN STARCH/FLOUR
- Add 6 cups water (pressure on high for 7 minutes) or boil until meat reaches desire tenderness adding water if necessary
- When meat reach desire tenderness, add water or allow sauce to simmer down to your likeness 9THICK OR THIN)
- DISSOLVED CORN STARCH/FLOUR IN 1/4 CUP WATER
- Add to pot and stir for 1 minute
- Remove and serve
